Effective problem solving

Educators, trainers and other people working with groups have to face conflicts continuously. These conflicts can be either a result of resistance in the learning process or tension from unresolved issues that have been building up. The seminar will help develop a solution-oriented attitude, acquire a multitude of skills for handling conflicts and boost creativity, self-reliance and self-confidence in dealing with difficult situations.

About

The main objective of this 5-day seminar is to assist a group of adult educators to develop their conflict management skills, while helping in their personal development, learning new tools and techniques. By equipping educators with important self-reflection, communication and creativity skills we aim at empowering them to handle conflicts and crisis in their educational setting and working environments as well as boost their self-confidence and regain their influence over difficult situations.

The training method

We work with experiential learning: learning by doing and by experience. Through active processes and interaction with others, you will be able to try out potential solutions through creative experiments. The methodology of the seminar is non-directive one, uses blended learning – group work, role plays, discussions, simulation exercises and problem solving scenarios, group creative thinking processes. By direct experience, you will also acquire effective and immediately applicable tools that will support you in implementing the new learnings in daily life. The experience will be supported by theories, lectures, and moments for common sharing and reflection.
